Please note: When standard shipping is selected, The Mandolin Store determines the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. We normally use UPS for all shipments. US Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and APO's must be shipped via USPS and require additional postage. Please inquire for rates. All instruments are sent signature required - no exceptions. This is an insurance requirement. Domestic shipments require a street address for delivery.
International Shipping Rates
Listed below are instrument rates for our most popular international destinations. Shipping charges to these destinations will be manually added to each transaction once an order is placed if you are using a credit card. If you use Paypal you will receive a seperate invoice from us for the shipping charges. Shipping charges to additional locations may vary significantly and must be arranged on a per-order basis. The minimum shipping charge is $14.99 for any international order

Duties and Taxes
International orders are subject to duties and taxes. The recipient is responsible for payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Please contact your customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items. Shipments within the state are required to pay 8% sales tax. Shipments outside of Arizona are not required to pay Arizona sales tax.

Orders usually ship within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. If you have questions about specific shipping times please contact us.
Trades
We now require all trades to be shipped to us before we ship any new instrument.
Return PolicyWe offer a 48 hour approval period on instruments with the following exceptions: in store sales, international sales, clearance items, special orders, and trades - no approval period on these. If an instrument is to be returned you must contact Dennis at, dennis@themandolinstore.com , within 48 hours after the instrument was delivered and request return authorization. The instrument must be in route back to us the first business day after the 48 hours.
Return Shipping Fees
We ship instruments cases outbound for free only if you keep them. The following charges only apply if the item is returned. This covers our outbound shipping, insurance, and handling expenses. If items are shipped anything other than UPS ground, then additional charges will apply.

It is the customers responsibility for return shipping and insurance charges
We make no express guarantees of the fit of cases and bags. We can only give advice on how they fit in the instruments that we carry. We strongly encourage you to call us on the phone to discuss your next purchase. We want you to be completely satisfied.
Special orders
Items special ordered that we do not normally stock are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.
Warranties
In the event of a warranty problem, customers are responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping. Shipping charges are not covered under manufacturers warranties. Our new instruments carry a warranty to the original owner. Those warranties are as follows: Weber, Martin, Collings, Gibson, Breedlove, Eastman, Phoenix - lifetime to the original owner. Kentucky, Godin, 1 year.
